What Is Seed Paper?
Our Seed Tags are created out of handmade, recycled paper which are embedded with live seeds! When the paper is planted in a pot of soil, the seeds grow and the paper composts away. All that is left behind is flowers, herbs or vegetables, and no waste.Â
How Is Seed Paper Made?
Step 1 | Making The Paper
Recycled paper is collected from local organisations, businesses and schools. It’s then mixed into a pulp to form the base of our paper.
Step 2 | Adding The Seeds
Seeds are added to the pulp and placed into a water bath. Paper making frames are dipped into the bath to create a sheet of Seed Paper.
Step 3 | Drying The PaperÂ
Seed Paper sheets are then dried and flattened. It’s now ready for us to use!Â
